Von Hesstun aus gehen Sie auf einem gut markierten Pfad in leichtem Gelände nach Süden auf den Veten (278m) hinauf, dem höchsten Punkt der Wanderung. Gehen Sie weiter über das Hamnfjellet nach Süden und zum See Storvatnet. Auf der Wanderung kommen Sie an bizarren Felsformationen vorbei, u.a. «Preikestolen». Am Storvatnet kann man schön Rast machen und sein Anglerglück versuchen. Der Pfad führt weiter nach Südwesten nach Hamn, und hier kommen Sie an einer grosen Spalte im Berg vorbei, sie ist fast wie ein Canyon. Hier gibt es einen steilen Abschnitt bevor Sie vom Berg herunterkommen. Von Hamn aus geht man auf der Strase zurück nach Hesstun, ca. 4,5 km.
