Die Wanderung beginnt am Stadion Åsmyra. Folgen Sie der Beschilderung ca. 1,6 km landeinwärts und nach Norden auf Zufahrtswegen und Wanderwegen zum Fuβ des Berges hin. Gehen Sie weiter durch den Kiefernwald nach oben und weiter auf gutem Weg bis zum Ziel der Wanderung, dem Grønlihumpen, mit fantastischer Aussicht über das Land von Vevelstad und die schöne Inselwelt von Sør-Helgeland. Falls Sie nicht denselben Weg zurückgehen möchten, können Sie nach Süden weitergehen, vorbei am „Squaw Valley“, wo man am Bach gut Rast machen kann.
