Start your walk by the grocery store, following the road up to Granmoen. Then turn onto the trail that leads through the spruce forest, through a cultural landscape and up rocky terrain. A great place for a break is Geitskardholten (300 m). Parts of this hike are challenging, so sturdy footwear is a must. As you approach the summit, you have a commanding view of the Vistenfjord and the surrounding farms and hamlets. From the summit itself the panorama is filled by the magnificent islands of southern Helgeland, as far as the eye can see.
